WHAT IS IT GOING TO COST ME?
An electrician is $85 +GST per hour and an apprentice is $65 +GST per hour. We charge in 15 minute blocks. Travel is charged at $1.60 +GST per km with travelling time also charged at the stated hourly rates.

HOW LONG WILL I HAVE TO WAIT?
At Couchmans Electrical, we pride ourselves on being on call - same day, all day, every day. If you have an urgent job that needs to be done same day - no problem, we will ensure that we get someone to you when you need them. For work outside of normal working hours, your call will be connected to our On Call staff member who will be available 24/7 (additional charges may apply).
WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT TERMS?
Your invoice will be payable by the 20th of the month following the completion of the work.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept cash, direct credit, EFTPOS and credit card.
I HAVE SOME APPLIANCES THAT NEED TO BE TESTED AND TAGGED HOW OFTEN DO THEY HAVE TO BE DONE, AND HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
Testing and tagging is completed to AS/NZS 3760:2010 which specifies how regularly appliances must be tested according to their type and enviroment. The shortest length is 3 monthly and this goes right through to 5 yearly (for appliances in an office enviroment). Rates start from $4.50 +GST, however often it is more cost effective (for larger numbers of items) for it to be done at an hourly rate plus travelling and the test tags.
